We were surprised at the limited range of sports that Caesars offers, as with a brand as large as Caesars, we’d have thought they would have one of the more extensive offerings. They do cover North American based leagues like NBA, NFL, MLB, and even college sports, but the markets are a bit of a letdown.
It’s not that the markets are poor, it’s just that other sportsbooks in the USA provide many more options than we see here. Having said that, they do cover spread bets, over/under, and moneyline markets for the vast majority of events that they have listed.
Odds & Limits
The odds are reasonable with Caesars, but it’s not often we found an event where they provided much higher value than the market average. This basically means that when you do place sports bets with Caesars, the return that you will get if you are correct is more or less what you will get at other platforms.
Caesars doesn’t publicly advertise what they are willing to pay out on sports bets, so we, unfortunately, can’t give you a limit on what you can win at this time.
As long as you have never held an account with Caesars before, you can sign up and get $10 completely free – no deposit required at all. In addition to this, you can get a $300 first bet match for your initial sports bet. This is very good value indeed, and it gives you a great way to trial the site without taking on too much risk.
Are there any restrictions for opening an account with Caesars?
Yes, as you must be at least 21 years of age and to make real money wagers, you must be located in a state where sports betting is permitted.
How easy is the Caesars Sportsbook to use?
We found it very simple to use, with obvious links to the sports and even further filters including A-Z sports, in-play markets, and even trending bets.
Does the site accept in-play bets?
Yes, they do accept live bets. All of these markets can be found through the In-Play link, which is located at the top of the home page.
What is the minimum bet I can make?
For sports bets that are made on an event before it starts, the limit is $1. However, for bets made on in-play markets, this is considerably less, and bets can be placed for just a couple of cents.
What kind of sports does Caesars cover?
Caesars covers just six sports in their sportsbook, which include football, basketball, soccer, baseball, rugby, and golf.
Are there any large events that Caesars offers betting markets for?
Yes – they cover postseason NBA playoffs, the Superbowl, Champions League soccer, and multiple other events.
Does Caesars have live streaming services?
Currently, Caesars does not have the permit to supply live streaming services, so they cannot offer this for any sport.
Can I change the presentation of the sports odds?
Yes, you can change them from fractional to decimal, and of course, you can view them in American format – whatever you wish.
Caesars Casino Sportsbook Review: Additional Features
Caesars is one of the more attractive sportsbooks that we’ve used in 2020, and thanks to links like A-Z sports, In-Play, and upcoming events, it’s a rather simple platform to use. The only aspect we would like to change really is the number of click throughs required to find certain betting markets, as this can waste time and lead to frustration.
How to place in-play bets
After you find the in-play section, you should have absolutely no problem with placing an in-play bet. Caesars has an entire section dedicated to these exact markets, where you can just find a market that has desirable odds, decide your wager, and place your bet.
At this moment in time, Caesars does not offer any live streaming options.
The mobile app is equally as appealing as the desktop platform, and the functionality is quite good too. Caesars has implemented all of its sports into the app, and you also have the luxury of in-play bets and cash-outs from the app. On top of this, the app is free to download and it is available for both Android and iOS.
- Site aesthetics
The presentation of the sportsbook is excellent, and we particularly enjoyed the color scheme as well as the ability to filter sports through the A-Z link.
- Ability to change odds presentation
Not everybody understands a set presentation of odds, and with Caesars, you have multiple options including American, fractional, and decimal.
- Can view sports by day
Caesars has set up the sportsbook where you can view sports based on what day they are taking place, which ensures you will never miss an event again!
- Comprehensive mobile app
The mobile app contains all of the same sports and markets that the desktop platform has, so you aren’t missing out on anything at all by playing through the app.
- Virtual sports
If you ever get bored of real sports betting, Caesars has a virtual sports betting section. This isn’t for everybody, but we found it quite interesting.
Pros & Cons
Very professional site development
Limited range of sports
Good focus on USA sports
Not many ongoing promotions for existing players
Cash-out is available for a range of bets
No live streaming
Respectable welcome offer
Sportsbook nowhere near as extensive as the casino
Caesars Casino Sportsbook Review – Reasonable, with room for improvement
Caesars is a fully legal betting site, and they are one of the more prestigious brands in the USA. The site isn’t without the need for improvements however, as they do not have the greatest range of markets and they don’t have live streaming options.
With that being said, they provide fair odds, have a solid mobile app, and they do offer enough sports for members to be entertained and have a highly enjoyable experience.
